History of PNMA

The Pediatric Nutrition Manufacturer Association (PNMA) is a nonprofit organization whose members are manufacturers of pediatric formula and supplementary food for infant and young child. Members agree to self-regulate and follow good business practices according to international standard and recommendation of WHO. PNMA was founded in 1984 with the goals to support government agencies and nutritional experts to educate the public about good and safe nutrition. PNMA will collaborate with government agencies to make policies and guidelines for appropriate marketing of infant and young child food in order that member companies can follow in the same manners.
